Our Drop Shop is kicking off with its first release with “Untitled Sugar”, a series of abstract sugar paintings each one original, signed, preserved in resin and framed. “I am firstly a painter before anything else. I spent 10 years painting in Sydney Australia having 24 exhibitions as a painter with over 300 works. When I came to Germany I had a break from everything I had done before as my understanding of the possibilities of art grew. for 15 years I have made sculpture/object and video art and now to return to painting with my medium sugar brings my work in abstraction in Sydney and my work in sculpture in Berlin all together.
